The French spintronics and magnetism conference

The Louis Néel Colloquium is a French magnetism conference that has taken place every 18 months since the ‘90s. It gathers over 200 researchers for a few days and is a very appreciated, structuring event of our community. It is a privileged moment to present and reflect on recent breakthroughs in nanomagnetism and spintronics, but also to initiate new collaborations. It is organized in a plenary session of talks interspersed with several posters sessions, and some social activities. The main language is French, but you are welcome to present your work in English. The conference covers a large scope of topics:

  •  elaboration and characterization of magnetic materials and structures
  •  spintronics
  •  nanomagnetism
  •  magnetization dynamics
  • emerging phenomena

 

One of the goals of the event is to promote the work of early stage researchers. We therefore wish to encourage their participation by giving them priority for oral contributions and by keeping registration prices low.
